Agamic Web design

This is an advertising poster for a webdesign company. I was given a basic idea for the design and was told the name of the company. This is what I came up with:

I started by creating the logo for the group. Once this had been accepted and taken as being good, I went ahead and used this as the basis for more expansive posters.

The object in the centre is the logo that appears behind the 'a' in the logo. I took this and treated it as 3d and made out of glass. Refracting the text behind it and bending it to the shape of the logo.

While I had been creating this design, there was a too much white space at the bottom of the image. So I placed this little object, which had been the test object for the central glass piece, at the bottom right of the image. This added a mirroring of the main piece and gave a greater weight to the piece over all.

This is a second version of the main and differs only by the colouring. Although I like the addition of the red it makes the image feel unbalanced so the original colour scheme was kept in the end.
