Medium-Risk flyer 2004

Part of the advertising campaign for Medium Risk. The over all idea was to create a feeling of a military device set into the side of some vehicle maybe.

To add to this idea I included a random number in a very block like font. I like the way that the paint that the number appears to be painted, looks like it is scraped and chipped as though it has been in the wars.

I wanted to create a kind of camera lens, so with this in mind I created this ring around the aperture in the centre and put the company name on it to make it look even more utilitarian.

The only coloured areas on the flyer are the centred lens and the radial lens. To begin with these were going to be the only areas any thing other than grey. But as an afterthought I decided to add the wires as though these were providing not only the power but also the colour to the lens.
